At work the next day, Stella opened the nanny cam app during her lunch break. She had expected to see nothing more than cute, normal family moments—her kids playing, perhaps Josh managing their morning routine.
But as the footage loaded, her breath caught in her throat.
The video showed Emma and Ben in the living room, dancing around to a song on the TV. Josh was in the background, seemingly doing laundry. But then, something strange happened.
Josh walked into the frame, and instead of continuing his chores, he did something Stella never expected.
