The Sweetest Revenge
The police didn’t need much time.
The evidence in the safe was overwhelming. Carl Ferguson and Mr. Rothstein were arrested for fraud and forgery inside the very mansion they tried to steal.
The “new will” was declared void.

Myra got everything back. The mansion. The millions. The company.
But then, she did something unexpected.
“I’m not moving back to the mansion,” she announced at a family barbecue.
Her children froze. “What?”
“I’m selling it,” she smiled, looking out at the ocean. “I’m going to build a new house. Right here.”
She had fallen in love with the land by the sea.
Myra used the money to build a stunning, modern cottage on the lot where the old trailer stood. She spent her days watching her grandchildren play on the beach, far away from the dark memories of the mansion.
“Maybe it was fate,” Myra told Alexandra, sipping lemonade on her new porch.
“Fate?” Alexandra asked.
“If I hadn’t been forced here,” Myra said, “I never would have found my paradise.”
Carl Ferguson wanted to leave her in the dirt. Instead, he pushed her into her dream life.
