The cabin of Flight 402 was dark. Most passengers were asleep, lulled by the steady hum of the engines.
Suddenly, a piercing scream shattered the silence in row 14.
Clara, a young woman in the aisle seat, stood up. With cold precision, she kicked the little girl sitting next to her hard in the shin.

The child shrieked. The man sleeping by the window—the girl’s father—snapped awake.
“Are you crazy?!” he roared, grabbing Clara’s arm. “You just kicked my daughter!”
Chaos erupted.
“She hit a child!” a flight attendant yelled, sprinting down the aisle. “Ma’am, sit down immediately!”
But Clara didn’t sit. She stood her ground, blocking the aisle, her chest heaving.
“Tell the pilot to lock the doors!” she screamed, her voice cracking with desperation. “Do not let anyone off this plane!”
