Christina entered the room. She started her routine, smiling and humming. She cleared the trash, scrubbed the bathroom.

There was a large, odd lump protruding from under the fitted sheet.
Christina’s heart skipped a beat. Housekeepers often find horrific things in beds: forgotten weapons, drugs, needles, or even… “biological surprises” left by cruel pranksters.
She was terrified to lift the sheet. Was it dangerous? Was it disgusting?
