The Letter
In the letter, Harold wrote:
“Julia, you’ve given me more than money could ever buy. You’ve given me peace. I know people will never understand why you did this, but I do. And I promise — one day, they will too.”
That letter went viral after Julia shared it during a televised charity event two years later. Donations poured in from around the world, and the foundation grew into one of the largest privately funded education charities in the country.
Suddenly, the same people who had mocked her now praised her. The tabloids that once called her a gold digger were now calling her a hero.
