Tensions Rise in the Cabin
The cabin, still bustling as the rest of the passengers settled into their seats, felt suddenly smaller. The air was thick with quiet whispers as passengers watched the situation unfold. Cynthia and her companion, Richard, seemed unfazed by the growing tension. Richard continued to stare out the window, pretending the world around him didn’t exist, while Cynthia casually played with her drink.

I felt my patience starting to fray. Was I imagining this? Or had they truly made themselves at home in my seat with no regard for anyone else?
That’s when Laura, the flight attendant, walked over with a calm yet firm demeanor. She asked, “How can I help you?”

“I’m afraid this is my seat,” I explained, pointing to the couple. Her eyes immediately moved to Cynthia and Richard, assessing the situation.
