The Message from Beyond
That night, Susan went to church.
She lit a candle and prayed for the little boy with the sad eyes. She asked God to find him a family.
Then, she went home to her husband, Richard, and fell into a restless sleep.
The dream started immediately.
She was standing in a fog. Her late son, Adam, walked toward her. He looked peaceful.
He didn’t speak. instead, he handed her a crumpled piece of paper.
Susan looked down at the note in her dream.
443 Washington Street.
Then, she heard Adam’s voice echo in her mind: “Mom, please take me with you.”

Susan woke up in a cold sweat. Her heart was pounding.
The next night, the dream returned. Same note. Same address. Same plea.
Take me with you.
After the third night, she couldn’t ignore it. She sat Richard down at the kitchen table.
“It’s Adam,” she told him, her hands trembling. “He keeps giving me this address. He wants me to go there.”
“What does it mean?” Richard asked, concerned.
“I don’t know,” Susan said. “But it started the day I met that boy, Kevin, at the cemetery.”
They looked up the address on a map.
It existed.
