THE FORBIDDEN DANCE
Daniel watched the screen as Rachel wiped her tears and stood up.
She turned on a small speaker. A strange, rhythmic music filled the room.
“Okay, boys,” she said, her voice crackling through the microphone. “Time for the secret dance.”

Daniel felt a lump in his throat. He hadn’t seen his sons move like that—with such joy—since the day of the crash.
But then, he saw Rachel pull something from her pocket. A small vial.
She didn’t give it to the boys. She held it to her heart and whispered: “I’m doing this for him. I won’t let them suffer alone like Michael did.”
Who is Michael? Daniel’s blood ran cold.

Daniel reached for his phone. He called a private investigator.
“Find out everything about Rachel Mitchell,” Daniel barked. “Especially who Michael is.”
