Intrigued and eager to prove himself, Kevin completely ignored his sister’s instructions. He snuck past the bright yellow caution tape that clearly read “Do not enter keep out”. Waiting until the coast was clear, the young boy jumped into the dimly lit, forbidden passage, instantly swallowed by the darkness.
Back at the slides, panic began to set in. When Kevin failed to show up, Sarah frantically searched the area. Terrified, she ran back to Lydia, tears streaming down her face, screaming that she had lost her brother.
Lydia’s heart plummeted. A sickening feeling of dread washed over her as she dropped her book and rushed to the slides, frantically screaming Kevin’s name. Bystanders and lifeguards quickly noticed the distressed mother and daughter and joined the search, but Kevin was nowhere to be found.
